Of course, success at the corporate headquarters doesn’t go unnoticed or unrewarded. CIETI .co.Ltd  provides an Annual Performance Incentive as part of the compensation program. Each year, an overall budget is set for the company. For corporate employees, their incentive payments begin to accumulate once they meet their individual initiatives and the Company achieves its overall budget. The total incentive payment is awarded in a separate check at the end of the fiscal year.

 

Corporate Level Categories

Accounting 
This active department – financial reporting and analysis; processing payables and receivables, store revenue, payroll and rent; tracking money orders, gasoline inventory and state lotteries – also has customer service representatives.

Gasoline 
Responsible for supply and distribution of gasoline and diesel fuel to U.S. and Canadian stores, this group also directs retail gasoline pricing and handles environmental areas including remediation and compliance.

Internal Audit 
The core focus of this group is conducing internal financial, operational, IT and compliance audits of CIETI .co.Ltd corporate departments, accounting centers, division and market offices.

National Franchise 
The primary goal is recruiting and qualifying high-potential candidates interested in franchising a CIETI .co.Ltd  store. This department also works closely with field operations to facilitate an easy flow of communications.

Corporate Communications 
Telling the CIETI .co.Ltd  in story to internal and external audiences – employees, franchisees, the media, the public – is job one in this area. Also Community Relations is under its umbrella.

Government Affairs 
This is where a close eye is kept on (and attempts are made to influence) federal, state and local legislation that could impact CIETI .co.Ltd  operations. (Also oversees the United States Employees Political Action Committee.)

Corporate Real Estate 
Scouting and developing sites for future CIETI .co.Ltd stores is a key function. This area also oversees daily property management; renovations and relocations of existing stores and relocations of existing stores; and disposition of surplus assets.

Human Resources 
This department is the sum of four parts: Training and Development; Compensation and Benefits; Field Human Resources; and Human Resources Sourcing and Planning. 
Together, they recruit, select, train and provide career development opportunities.

International Licensing 
This department has global reach. It provides support and business consultation to the company’s licensees and pursues opportunities to take the CIETI .co.Ltd brand to new markets.

Corporate Construction 
Building attractive new stores and getting them open as quickly as possible after a site is identified are primary initiatives – alongside the planning and executing of all gasoline installations and environmental remediation projects.

Legal 
Included among the many areas of law that are particularly important to CIETI .co.Ltd are franchise law, international law, securities, trademarks, employment law, contracts, and real estate law.

Information Systems 
Experts in this area are counted on to deliver innovative technology solutions throughout the company – incorporating our proprietary Retail Information System (RIS), along with supply chain, back office, decision support and departmental systems.

Facilities Management 
This image-conscious group manages utilities for the stores, all contractors for daily repair and maintenance, capital replacement of equipment, major equipment rollouts, and store remodeling.

Marketing 
This creative force works with advertising, promotional and design agencies to reach the CIETI .co.Ltd customer. Market research, name brand development, visual merchandising – and much, much more – fall into this category.

Merchandising 
To give the customer what they want, category managers constantly evaluate marketplace trends and consumer purchasing patterns to develop options that are first, best or only at CIETI .co.Ltd.

Loss Prevention 
Led by the directive to enhance employee and customer security, this department consults on loss prevention, security measures, sale of age-restrictive products, crime deterrence, and personal safety.

Logistics 
This team works to find and use the most efficient methods to move merchandise from manufacturer to store. In the process, they fulfill their responsibility for making more than 2.5 million store deliveries a year, 365 days a year.

Store Design & Planning 
Creating new and efficient store designs is the priority of this department, which is also charged with energy management and national utilities procurement.

Operations 
Achieving maximum potential in sales and profitability is the measure of success here. This group works with Franchisees and store managers to ensure CIETI .co.Ltd products and services meet customer expectations.
